Most days you will find people fishing in the Ping in the heart of Chiang Mai. The stretch around Nawarat bridge seems very popular with locals, many of which sport an array of rods. Have yet to see anyone catch anything but I guess there is a Thai version of 'the one that got away'.

Thanks Rob.
Next time you go past that way could you add a GPS link to the area that they are fishing in?
Tom.

Hi Tom,
Here's the GPS for Nawarat Bridge 18.78755,99.004433
Last night looking in both directions from the bridge there was 20+ people fishing.
If I can find an English speaker I'll find out what they are catching.
Rob
