Thai run and well established - usual Thai fishing lake standards. You get treated to a dose of karaoke later in the day on this lake - nice.
There are catfish in there (not sure about the 60KG size though) and i've been to much worse fishing parks to be fair - but it's fairly clean with only a bit of dog shite that I saw and the facilities were pretty good for a fishing park.

Dairyperson,
Welcome to forum.
Any ideas what the 50kg fish were caught on - i'd be interested to know if it was the standard bread they give you there or something a bit special...
Cheers,
Tom.

Hi DP,
Intersting - I stuck a bottle of bannana additive into a full bucket of bread and they refused to touch it!!!
Might try chilli sauce next time, maybe it wasn't spicy enough for the Thai mekongs...
Cheers,
Tom.

I have a feeling the catfish here probably have the same attitude to feeding as the majority of Thai's that i've met - find what you like and stick to it....
In this case of the catfish it's more likely bread or rice husks in a bloody great ball - the times i've deviated from these kinds of bait when i'm after catfish I usually end up catching nothing.
However, my current target is a double figure Jalamet from my local Fishing Park, those guys will eat anything so i'll try the tuna thing and let you know how I get on.
Cheers,
Tom.

Hi DP,
List of locations here:-
http://www.farangfriendly.com/Fishing-P ... /chonburi/
There is also Golden Sands Fishing Park in Rayong here:-
http://www.farangfriendly.com/Company/G ... 81161.aspx
Keep an eye on that page - as I find more i'll post them. Prices vary, normally around 200-300 baht per day with your own tackle with the exception of the Amazon Park that is a total rip off at 2000 baht per day.
Cheers,
Tom.
